Hello beautiful people :) I've been tagged by dakotascatsandclothes to share my oddities. I may have done this in the past so these are my latest...

My quirks:
I randomly get urges to be a super clean freak; but always stop mid-way through due to realization that my idea was crazy. No I can't clean the entire house from floor to ceiling in one evening. Ridiculous.

I hate smelling like food. After cooking if I smell a slight scent of food on me I will definitely shower and change clothes.

I am addicted to spin class. No matter how tired I am i'm always down to spin :)

I LOVE Hello Kitty. Seriously ADDICTED! To the point where if my dog was a girl her name would be Hello Kitty. Ya, I know...

I was born and raised in San Diego and plan to live here for a long time. I love the city TOO much that I can't bear to part with it. I'll still visit other places to widen my horizons though :)

Rolled around time and discovered a new shopping plaza. Free People, Anthropologie, Apple Store...just to name a few. Transitioned my shoes to these flats to run around town. The hubby and I were on a search for "The Golden Spoon." This equates to the yogurt craze, but with cheaper prices :) After much driving around, and me always wanting to stop at each cute boutique we passed by, we FINALLY found the Golden Spoon. Okay, more like boots with the fringe :) Flo-rida's song is very catchy and immensely reminds me of my BFFs. Running around time doing errands. Stopped by the sewing place to get my blazers altered. I scored some fabulous Ralph Lauren blazers from the thrift store the other. Both blue and black! Can you believe it???? Took them to get altered to fit me and will be trying them tomorrow. Hopefully they fit perfectly so I don't have to wait much longer to incorporate them into my wardrobe.

Guess who's back.... Shaddy's back....

Had a BLAST with the girls these past few days. We closed off our girly festivities with a farewell dinner back in town. The cruise was so fun. Every, literally EVERY, emotion came out. LOL! I forgot how it was to live with friends :) Love them to death, but am SO GLAD to be back living with the hubby! Catch phrases of the trip:

The Natural History Museum offers day trips to Ensenada for a really good deal. Trips are based on themes such as Tequila, Olives, Seafood, Wine...to name a few. The BFF and I went to the Wine Tasting tour and it was TONS of fun. Highly recommend everyone to check their local museum to see what's offered. Bus, Food, Snacks, all you can Drink...what more could you ask for (all under 1 price)?!

Today was a scorcher :) The news reports that it is only to get hotter this weekend. Tomorrow is FRIDAY! All the girlies decided that tomorrow is "Girls Night Out," which only means FUN FUN FUN! Didn't have much option to choose from when heading off to school today. I forgot to do the laundry, leaving me some unexpected clothings I've acquired from the past, but yet believe they will come handy one day. Today is one of those days :) Wore my flip flops today, which is VERY rare of me. Today I felt they worked for my outfit in a wierd way. If I had more time I would have found some skinny jeans and paired them with my brown ankle minnetonka boots!

Love these boots! I have an addiction. I own three pairs already and now want the trampers in brown. Argh. Now I have to think of a way to get them without the hubby knowing right away. He knows I have a huge shoe addiction, especially with boots. He made this deal that as long as I wear all my clothes I could still buy new stuff every now and then. So to ensure that he notices that I truly AM wearing all my clothes, I purposely change for every occassion. I'll get home from school and he'll want to go to blockbuster. So I change. When we get back he'll want to go somewhere else. So I change. And this goes on and on to enforce his "deal." Its funny because I know he'll take the deal back :) LOL. Love him.

Friday's are my favorite days...

Does anyone remember that song? LOL! Nice and sunny today. Too bad majority of my day was spent in the office staring out my window wishing I was outside :( Luckily Fridays are my short work days and I leave at 2p. If i'm lucky I get to leave at 1p! Not today though. Although tomorrow (sat) isn't Mother's Day, the familia decided to celebrate tomorrow since all the kids are in town. Church (of course from my madre), Dinner, then fun time without the rents'!!!

Tomorrow morning I have my final exam. I'm debating if I should drive the 40+ miles to go hit up the nearest H&M. I have a huge itch to shop there (especially since it's not quite often).

Fell in love with this dress the moment Target announced Jovovich-Hawk as the new GO Collection. Luckily I ordered this dress day 1 it was available online :) Drove down to the madre's casa on Sunday. Another spring day :) Thank you weather! I bought this skirt at my local F21 a couple weeks back and decided that today was the perfect weather for it's debut. After running around town I remembered I had to do a listing on eBay for some lovely vintage boots that I must part with. I slightly altered my outfit to incorporate the boots. Here are six of my ‘quirks’

1. I hate peanut butter, but love nutter butter cookies. Everytime I see someone eat toast with PB it looks so good, but then I try it and remember why I hate it.

2. I'm obsessed with Hello Kitty. Really obsessed. I've loved her since the first day she came out (I was a itty baby still).

3. I've lived in the same city all my life (and LOVE it). There's always something new that I have not yet seen/tried/or been to.

4. I take the train to work because I hate driving long distance (my work is about 45 min. away). I consider a 15 mile radius my driving zone; otherwise I consider it "too far." The only time i'll drive further than my radius is when visitng with familia or partying with the BFFs.

5. I become OCD about my kitchen. Just something about putting things where they are in that room only makes me feel tingly inside :). Of course I wish I had this disorder about my closet.

6. I love love LOVE rap music. Gangster rap. My husband laughs everytime I rap along in the car :)

Summer's in the air...everywhere I go.

Okay maybe spring. LOL. Today started off bad with the previous train having yet another accident. Both tracks were delayed for 2 hours!!! I then called the boss lady and asked to telecommute. Man, 2 hours!!! However, the day quickly turned wonderful with thrifting, gift shopping, and Panera Bread. Yum.

The lovely lizziethegreat featured me in her blog today referncing my denim post. I can't express how flattered I feel! Thank you!! She did a great job of incorporating the denim skirt.

Tomorrow is a MAC filled day. I did a post a while back regarding my obsession with makeup. Well, tomorrow my local MAC counter is hosting an event for their Naughty Nauticals line of makeup. See here for more info on this line. Temptalia is a great site. Love everything on it! Tomorrow's event is a class on makeup. I take the classes whenever I hear about them to learn new techniques and play with the new colors. MAC normally hosts these events around the debut of a makeup line. However, not all debuts will have an event. You'll need to make friends with a MAC artist or stop by and ask if you're ever around one. Highly recommend these classes. I'll post a few of the things and thoughts they tell us tomorrow.

Another day, another dollar.

Ahh, the dreaded Monday. Always jam packed with new deadlines. My least favorite day of the week.

On a fashion note....the day of the Thread Show there was a huge thrift sale extravaganza next door. After the bestie and I left Thread I had to go see what exactly this thrift sale extravaganza consisted of. Man, oh, man. HEAVEN! There were TONS of stuff. To sum it up let's just say they took tons of thrift and vintage stores and put them under one roof. Sadly we didn't have enough time to stay and look around much, but I did score this wonderful navy blue vintage blazer wiuth gold accent buttons (which by the way i've been on a HUGE hunt for!!!). Ah, the denim skirt. At one point in time, this was the "it" item. Especially for all you previous (or still continuous) Abercrombie/Hollister fans out there. I too fall under this shadow being casted; for my case i'm a previous fan that still LOVES the items saved from working there.

As noted in a previous blog, working in Abercrobie led me to finding my husband. Working in Abercrombie also meant that denim skirts were the "it" thing during my brief tenure with the company. But today, I decided to bring it back. As I was going through my closet, and there I saw it. Calling my name as the seams hung down. I grabbed the skirt and immediately recalled all the past and fun memories we had. Then I thought, "Hmmm, i'm gonna rock this at school today!" So I did just that.
